SAY IT IN IGBO: A GUIDE TO SAYING IGBO WORDS CORRECTLY

The guide is an Igbo learning handbook. it uses what we call the 'Igbo in English' phonics system to teach proper pronunciation of Igbo words.

THE APPROACH
This system uses the normal English sounds you know, to teach you to say Igbo words. This book serves as an Igbo language primer. It is an indispensable companion to anyone who wants to learn how to say Igbo words correctly.

THE USERS
It is especially useful for people who are in a non-Igbo environment, who read literature which has Igbo words and expressions such as Dance of the Iroko, Things fall apart, Half of a yellow Sun and others books with Igbo words.

DANCE OF THE IROKO

An allegorical novel set in pre-colonial Igboland.

THE APPROACH
The approach is a total immersion experience which provides an anthroplogical perspective to the reader, through which Igbo langugage is experienced within the cultural context. This approach is aided by narrative, and dialogue that is communicated through transliteration.
